INTERESTS
Dr. Dubin is an Assistant Professor in UCSF Nephrology based at the San Francisco VA Medical Center. She has studied the effects of dialysis on cardiac function and post-dialysis fatigue, vascular dysfunction, and physiological mechanisms of elevated cardiac troponin T in persons with end-stage renal disease (ESRD). With funding from a K23 and RO3, Dr. Dubin has built an ESRD cohort of 200 patients to study vascular and cardiac dysfunction in the setting of ESRD, in collaboration with Fresenius Medical Care and DaVita Research. She is a Principal Investigator(PI) in the multi-PI format on the UO1 funded by the NIDDK to study proteomics in chronic kidney disease (CKD), the PI for a study of doxycycline in advanced CKD funded by UCSF, and PI for the Dialysis Readiness, Education and Mentoring (DREAM) project, supported by Cricket Health.
